-The cutting board has been treated with mineral oil and beeswax to protect it. Periodic reaplication of mineral oil, or a wax/oil specifically for cutting boards in nessisary to maintain/protect it.
-It is not recomended to put in the dishwasher as the high heat will warp the wood and strip the protective finish.
